Cloud Engineer

Like big data?

Server hallway in the skyCloud Engineers continue to develop the Heirloom back end and delight our customers with new capabilities.  They write the code, test the systems, and ensure the security of petabytes of customer data.  It might seem like "ones" and "zeros", but that data represents someone's wedding video, a child's refrigerator artwork, or the only copy of an ancestry photo taken in the 1800s!  Cloud Engineers at Heirloom have an enormous responsibility.

If you enjoy managing big data, then Heirloom is a great place to work.  Our best Cloud Engineers think of themselves as data scientists.  They love solving problems, and they find it incredibly rewarding to bring good technology to an enormous consumer problem.

You never work on Sunday as an Heirloom employee.  We believe good scheduling supports great work, so flexible hours are available.  Cloud Engineers should be at least 18 years old, have the equivalent of a four year technical degree, and must be authorized to work in the state of Virginia.
