Private Network

Heirloom’s application is a private network controlled by you, the account Owner. Owners can use their cloud storage to share one or more of their files, with one or more other Heirloom accounts. Owners understand their sharing of owned files is unlimited, and free for the recipients of these files. Recipients of these files continue to enjoy this content, so long as the Owner maintains an active account with the appropriate cloud storage to share these files.

File Sharing Permissions

Owners understand that they define their sharing permissions as follows:

Viewer: This is the default sharing permission. It allows a recipient to view or download the file.

Contributor: This is an elected sharing permission. It has all the sharing permissions of a Viewer, but also allows a recipient to reshare the file to other users, at or below the same level of permission, and add a description.

Editor: This is an elected sharing permission. It has all the sharing permissions of a Contributor, but also allows a recipient to rename, move, and delete the file.

Cloud Storage

Free: Anyone with an email address can sign up to receive a free, lifetime Heirloom account. Free accounts come with 1 gigabyte (GB) of cloud storage space, and can receive an unlimited amount of shared files from Owners of other accounts. Owners of free accounts will need to upgrade to an account with more cloud storage to safeguard more than 1 GB of their Owned content.

Bronze: Bronze accounts on Heirloom come with 50 GB of cloud storage for Owned content. Accounts fees can be paid monthly, or annually. Overdue accounts will become Inactive until account fees are paid. Inactive accounts are unable to access their Owned content. Recipients are also unable to access that content shared to them from an Inactive account.

Silver: Silver accounts on Heirloom come with 250 GB of cloud storage for Owned content. Accounts fees can be paid monthly, or annually. Overdue accounts will become Inactive until account fees are paid. Inactive accounts are unable to access their Owned content. Recipients are also unable to access that content shared to them from an Inactive account.

Gold: Gold accounts on Heirloom come with 1,000 GB of cloud storage for Owned content. Accounts fees can be paid monthly, or annually. Overdue accounts will become Inactive until account fees are paid. Inactive accounts are unable to access their Owned content. Recipients are also unable to access that content shared to them from an Inactive account.

Heirloom Access

Heirloom has limited access to any cloud storage account. This access includes limited data about the account Owner, such as name, email address, their mobile number, and their use of the application. Heirloom has no access to view the content of any account, however, Heirloom does reserve the right to upload files into an account from a media transfer order.
